Livermore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Granada Matadors, falling 3-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Cowboys' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

While Livermore was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Granada's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-15.

Mimi Headley paced Livermore's offense, picking up four kills. Headley got some help from Danielle Penaflor and her six assists. Marrit Poyneer controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Livermore's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Granada, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Livermore didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against South Tahoe on the 25th. As for Granada, they will venture away from home to take on University at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
