The Seminole Indians are taking a road trip to take on the Pecos Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pecos took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Seminole, who comes in off a win.
Seminole got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Monahans a 12-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Loboes: they've now won five in a row.

Jaycen Robledo was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Seminole is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 4-12 otherwise. Robledo was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Oscar Grijalva was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025. Audiel Sanchez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Seminole always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Pecos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to Greenwood.
Zachy Tarin made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Joel Aguliar, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Seminole's record now sits at 6-13. As for Pecos, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14-2.
Seminole skirted past Pecos 5-4 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
