The Mater Biscayne Academy Wildcats will head out to take on the LaProgresiva Presbyterian Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Mater Biscayne Academy beat Academy for Innovative Education 47-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Tom Ruben continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8-for-15 on his way to 21 points. Ruben is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Jayden Iglesias also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Meanwhile, LaProgresiva Presbyterian earned a 60-47 victory over Palm Glades Prep Academy on Monday. That 13 point margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

LaProgresiva Presbyterian's win came from a few key players Mater Biscayne Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alexy Valdez, who posted 12 points. Jonathan Morales was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Mater Biscayne Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for LaProgresiva Presbyterian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
