Basketball Game Preview: Edison Tommies vs. Minneapolis Southwest Lakers

The Edison Tommies will face off against the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Edison has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 11.

Last Wednesday, Edison was beaten by Hiawatha Collegiate 77-35. While losing is never fun, the Tommies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Hiawatha Collegiate are ranked 153rd).

Meanwhile, Minneapolis Southwest was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 60-59 to Roosevelt.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Minneapolis Southwest, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-9.
