The NCSSM: Durham Unicorns enjoyed a cozy 68-52 win over the Falls Lake Firebirds. This was payback for the Unicorns, who suffered a 61-46 loss the last time these two teams met.

NCSSM: Durham's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chris Chen led the charge by going 7 for 10 on his way to 18 points. Chen continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethann Burkett, who posted 15 points and four steals.
