There's no place like home for Sunnyslope, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Shadow Ridge Stallions 93-14. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.
Sunnyslope's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amelia Mickelson, who went 7 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Mickelson has posted since back in December of 2023. Teagan McIlroy was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine steals.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.1 points per game. As for Shadow Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Sunnyslope didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-42 defeat against O'Connor on the 13th. Shadow Ridge has also already played their next matchup, a 56-37 victory against Boulder Creek on the 10th.
