Soccer Recap: Richmond Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cathedral, Richmond was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hayward Farmers a 5-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Oilers needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

The win got Richmond back to even at 1-1-1. As for Hayward, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond will venture away from home to take on Albany at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hayward, they are taking a road trip to square off against San Lorenzo at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
