Baseball Game Preview: Magnolia Panthers vs. Beebe Badgers

The Magnolia Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Beebe Badgers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Magnolia's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Beebe's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Magnolia is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Arkadelphia just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Badgers by a score of 4-3. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 25, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, Beebe entered their tilt with Parkview on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Patriots 15-0. The Badgers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

Beebe's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Magnolia, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Everything went Magnolia's way against Beebe in their previous matchup back in May of 2017, as Magnolia made off with an 11-1 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Badgers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
