Wareham won the last time they faced Upper Cape Cod RVT and things went their way on Monday too. The Vikings walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rams. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Wareham had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-15, 25-12, 25-13.

Johnny Tompkins paced Wareham's offense, picking up ten kills. Tompkins got some help from Olivia LaCava and her 24 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Upper Cape Cod RVT lost, don't look at Nigella Johnson. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs and three aces. Johnson is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Lia Estes was another key player, getting 12 digs and two aces.

Wareham's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Wareham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Holbrook on the 1st. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Bristol County Agricultural on the 1st.
