Westside has gone 8-2 against Trumann recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Westside Warriors will look to defend their home field against the Trumann Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Westside will be strutting in after a victory while Trumann will be coming in after a defeat.

Westside took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Piggott 20-5. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Trumann was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against Buffalo Island Central, falling 12-2.

Trumann saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryker Shuburte, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Westside's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Trumann, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Westside skirted past Trumann 7-6 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will Westside repeat their success, or does Trumann have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
