South Lyon had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They blew past the Brighton Bulldogs 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 17 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

South Lyon pushed their record up to 28-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Brighton, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-15.

As of now, neither South Lyon nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
