Basketball Game Preview: Hanford Bullpups vs. Redwood Rangers

The Hanford Bullpups and the Redwood Rangers will face off at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

While Hanford didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Del Oro 94-47 on Friday. That looming 94-47 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bullpups yet this season.

Meanwhile, Redwood didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Tulare Western on Friday, but they still walked away with a 74-68 win.

Hanford has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.9 points per game. As for Redwood, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Hanford ended up a good deal behind Redwood in their previous matchup back in January, losing 64-49. Can Hanford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
