Volleyball Recap: Alexis Castell De Oro Key Part of Team Effort in Sharks Win

Santiago won the last time they faced Bonita Vista and things went their way on Saturday too. The Sharks came out on top against the Barons by a score of 2-0.

Santiago's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alexis Castell De Oro led the charge by getting eight digs.

The win got Santiago back to even at 13-13. As for Bonita Vista, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

Santiago wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Vista Murrieta on the 11th. As for Bonita Vista, they will challenge Mater Dei Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
