It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Thatcher had no problem doing just that on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gilbert Christian Knights 56-14. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Thatcher's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tristun Brown, who rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. The dominant performance gave Brown a new career-high in rushing yards. Will Chidester was another major influence, as he rushed for 13 yards and ran in a TD.

Thatcher was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 289 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gilbert Christian only rushed for 77.
