The Cardinals skirted past the Eagles 9-8. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 5-3 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Zander Hernandez, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary is undefeated when Hernandez posts two or more stolen bases, but 7-13 otherwise.
