Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors vs. Bishop Snyder Cardinals
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. The matchup between them and the Cardinals wasn't particularly close, with the Conquerors falling 63-49. Trinity Christian Academy has not had much luck with Bishop Snyder recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Trinity Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Anderson, who scored 11 points along with four steals. Anderson has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Baker, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Trinity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Bishop Snyder, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-16 record this season.
Trinity Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Snyder, they will head out on the road to take on Providence School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Providence School's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Bishop Snyder has been banged up by 18 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
