West Jordan won the last time they faced Cyprus, and Giselle Muffett did her part to make sure it happened again. The West Jordan Jaguars breezed by the Cyprus Pirates to the tune of 61-34 on Friday thanks in part to Muffett, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. Her evening made it 12 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Marlee Reupena, who went 6 of 12 to rack up 15 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (60%).

Cyprus lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Calee Sharp, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 11 points. Sharp has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Haylie Hatch was another key player, putting up six points and six boards.

West Jordan is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Cyprus, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

West Jordan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-28 victory against Granger on the 4th. As for Cyprus, they have also already played their next match, a 49-41 defeat against Hunter on the 4th.
