Addison Trail is a perfect 5-0 against Elgin since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Blazers will host the Maroons at 4:30 p.m. The last three games Addison Trail has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Addison Trail didn't have quite enough to beat York and fell 7-5. That's two games in a row now that the Blazers have lost by exactly two runs.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Elgin finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 16-1 to South Elgin.

Addison Trail's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 2.25 runs. As for Elgin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything went Addison Trail's way against Elgin in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, as Addison Trail made off with a 10-0 victory. Will the Blazers repeat their success, or do the Maroons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
