Basketball Recap: Central Christian Comes Up Short

Central Christian lost against Classical back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Central Christian Cougars lost 67-42 to the Classical Saints. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Classical to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mack Dolloff, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. What's more, Dolloff also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Tylan Sinclair, who went 5 for 6 en route to 15 points.

Central Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Classical, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Central Christian has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 tie against Solomon on the 24th. As for Classical, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-38 victory against Republic County on the 24th.
