Volleyball Recap: Roxbury Prep Charter Comes Up Short

Roxbury Prep Charter lost against Academy of the Pacific Rim back in September of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolves came up short against Academy of the Pacific Rim, falling 3-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roxbury Prep Charter was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-11, 25-19.

Roxbury Prep Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Academy of the Pacific Rim, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Roxbury Prep Charter will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Neighborhood House Charter at 4:30 p.m. on October 7. As for Academy of the Pacific Rim, they are taking a road trip to challenge Boston Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
