Archbishop Moeller High School Football Team beats St. Xavier

CINCINNATI, Ohio - Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, Ohio) beat St. Xavier (Louisville, Ky.), 24-12 on Friday night to remain undefeated.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the second quarter, the Fighting Crusaders led 10-6 at the half.

Archbishop Moeller expanded its lead to 12 points entering the fourth quarter. Moeller scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown catch by Jake Hausmann.

St. Xavier's lone touchdown came on a 61-yard run by Charles Walker in the third quarter.



The Cincinnati school also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 27-10.

The loss comes after St. Xavier defeated Fairdale 50-0 last week. With the win the Fighting Crusaders extended their winning streak to four games.
