Basketball Game Preview: Hickman County Bulldogs vs. Alcoa Tornadoes

Hickman County has won seven straight games at home, while Alcoa has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Hickman County Bulldogs will host the Alcoa Tornadoes at 7:15 p.m. Hickman County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 games -- so hopefully Alcoa likes a good challenge.

Hickman County is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since December 28, 2024 on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 victory over Cannon County.

Meanwhile, Alcoa earned an 86-73 win over Roane County on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won eight in a row.

Hickman County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points over those games. Alcoa's win bumped their record up to 23-5.
