Winter Springs extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Sebring. They blew past the Blue Streaks 11-4. Considering the Bears have won 14 games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tiffany Seemann was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, Winter Springs got a massive performance out of Katelyn Wassey, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs Wassey has posted since back in March. Abigail Hooper was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Winter Springs was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sebring only posted a batting average of .185.

The victory (which was Winter Springs' fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Sebring, they moved to 15-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Winter Springs will face off against Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bears 2.6, the Hurricanes 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Sebring does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
