Basketball Game Preview: Bella Vista Broncos vs. Roseville Tigers

Having just played yesterday, the Bella Vista Broncos will jump right back in to play the Roseville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bella Vista's tournament run continued when they took on Patterson on Thursday. Bella Vista came out on top against Patterson by a score of 51-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Roseville against Gunderson on Thursday as the team secured a 69-40 victory. That 29 point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Bella Vista better focus on containing Oreste Yong and Ren Marsh as the pair were huge in Roseville's win. Yong went 6 for 7 on his way to 12 points, while Marsh posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Bick, who had nine points and three steals.

Roseville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 12 consecutive contests.

The win got Bella Vista back to even at 6-6. As for Roseville, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Bella Vista came up short against Roseville when the teams last played back in January, falling 51-43. Thankfully for Bella Vista, Clark Nielsen (who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
