Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Faribault). They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Austin Packers on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Faribault's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 2-12. As for Austin, they moved to 5-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faribault will host John Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Austin, they will take on Stewartville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
