After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Santa Margarita, Redlands East Valley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 40-7 win over the Redlands Terriers. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten matches by 22 points or more so far this season.
A big part of Redlands East Valley's victory came down to the chemistry between Charlotte Cox and her top target Milee Najera. Cox threw for 412 yards while completing 78% of her passes while Najera picked up 158 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 412 passing yards gave Cox a new career-high.
Redlands East Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Heaven Marsh led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.
