Cheshire put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Law Lawmen a 14-0 shutout. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Cheshire's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Law, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cheshire will head out to challenge Amity Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Law, they will head out on the road to square off against West Haven at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Lawmen are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
