Baseball Recap: Navasota Comes Up Short

Navasota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls. The Rattlers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fighting Owls earlier this season, when they won 8-4.

Kyle Taylor was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Navasota's record is now 2-5. As for Anderson-Shiro, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Navasota will take on Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Anderson-Shiro, they will welcome C.H. Yoe at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
