Basketball Recap: Voyager Academy Takes a Loss

Voyager Academy is still winless after their game against Research Triangle on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-30 heartbreaker at the hands of the Raptors. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raptors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Voyager Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Research Triangle, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Voyager Academy will host Woods Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Research Triangle, they and NCSSM: Durham will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played.
