Fairfield won the last time they faced York County Tech and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Spartans.

Jayden Bell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Fairfield's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Stephen Higgs, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 2-4-1. As for York County Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield will host Biglerville at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for York County Tech, they will take on Bermudian Springs at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
