Volleyball Recap: Chatham Cavaliers vs. Nelson County Governors
Chatham's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Nelson County Governors as the Chatham Cavaliers made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cavaliers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 25-20.
Chatham found their leader in underclassman Brooklyn Rigney, who had three digs and three aces.
Chatham's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Nelson County, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
Chatham will square off against Bassett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nelson County, they will welcome William Campbell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nelson County is facing William Campbell at the right time seeing as William Campbell is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
