Mead has gone a perfect 8-0 against Shadle Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m.

Mead is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Gonzaga Prep, who was ranked first at the time (Mead was ranked tenth). The Panthers came up short against the Bullpups on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Mead was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Shadle Park beat Central Valley 3-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

Shadle Park had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-16.

Mead's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6. As for Shadle Park, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Mead was able to grind out a solid victory over Shadle Park when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
