Clatskanie proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Portland Christian Royals 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Clatskanie had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 19-25, 28-26, 25-21, 15-8.
Clatskanie's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Portland Christian, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 10-2.
