Volleyball Game Preview: Bay Area Christian Broncos vs. Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions

The Bay Area Christian Broncos will venture away from home to challenge the Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Bay Area Christian will be strutting in after a win while Legacy Prep Christian Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

St. Thomas Episcopal came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Bay Area Christian, but Addison Wilson wouldn't allow it. The Broncos put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday with plenty of help from Wilson, who had 28 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 30 games she's played.

While Bay Area Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Legacy Prep Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Cypress Christian, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-13.

Legacy Prep Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Bay Area Christian, the win got them back to even at 18-18-1.

Bay Area Christian beat Legacy Prep Christian Academy 3-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
