Softball Recap: Burton Adventist Academy Comes Up Short

The Burton Adventist Academy Angels came up short against the Lucas Christian Academy Warriors on Monday, falling 22-8.

Vivian Boley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Cabansag, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while going 2-for-2.

Burton Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lucas Christian Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

While Burton Adventist Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
