Rhodes had won three straight at home, but on Monday they bumped their record up to 7-4 to make it four. They skirted past the Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen 20-18. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their two-run performance the contest before.

As for Cleveland Central Catholic, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11. On the bright side, the 18- run effort marked their highest-scoring matchup to date.

For Cleveland Central Catholic's part, Marissa Hampton stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she got on base in three of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Aahliyah Churn, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
