Soccer Recap: Coconino Finishes Even with Thunderbird

For the first time this season, Coconino was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Thunderbird Titans finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Coconino's goal came courtesy of Fernando Soto-Diaz, who's now up to four this season.

Coconino's draw gives them a new season record of 8-1-1. Meanwhile, Thunderbird's record is now 1-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coconino will head out to square off against Flagstaff at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Coconino is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Thunderbird, they will venture away from home to challenge St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
