Baseball Recap: Sts. Peter & Paul Comes Up Short

Sts. Peter & Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 back in March.

Sts. Peter & Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sts. Peter & Paul will square off against Delmarva Christian at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Sabres' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Royals have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, they will challenge Park School at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
