Ropes came tearing into Tuesday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Morton Indians by a score of 5-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

Ropes pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.9 runs over those games. As for Morton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
