Volleyball Recap: Mt. Carmel Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Mt. Carmel's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cheyenne Desert Shields by a score of 2-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Sundevils as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Mt. Carmel's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Cheyenne, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Mt. Carmel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against University City on the 22nd. As for Cheyenne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Centennial on the 22nd.
