            Coventry Christian will take on Plumstead Christian at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
Coventry Christian is leaving town to face Plumstead Christian after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Coventry Christian lost  16-0 to Conestoga Christian two weeks ago. Sadly, the  loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.
Meanwhile, Plumstead Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Jenkintown as Plumstead Christian made off with  a  15-0 victory. The game was the first time Plumstead Christian has beaten Jenkintown on their field since April 30, 2019.
 Declan Glass was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Glass was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Chase Blattner and  Micah Kulp did most of the damage at the plate:  Blattner  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while  Kulp  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.  Liam McIlhinney was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Plumstead Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .656. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jenkintown only posted  an  OBP of  .143.
