Alcona took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Oscoda, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers won by a set and slipped past the Owls 2-1.

Alcona's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7-4. As for Oscoda, their loss dropped their record down to 11-20-2.

Alcona has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Whittemore-Prescott on the 25th. Oscoda does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
