Baseball Recap: West Monona Comes Up Short

West Monona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Woodbury Central Wildcats, falling 12-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Monday.

West Monona's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Woodbury Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

West Monona will square off against AHSTW at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodbury Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-6 win against Ridge View on the 24th.
