After losing to Cuba the last time they met, Licking decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Licking walked away with a 2-0 win over Cuba on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Licking.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 26-24.

Licking picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 6-10-4. As for Cuba, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Licking has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Jefferson on the 20th. As for Cuba, they will take on Linn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
