Volleyball Recap: Dawson School Comes Up Short

Dawson School lost against Heritage Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 24-26, 25-16.

Bella Ward paced Dawson School's offense, picking up eight kills. Ward got some help from Gabby Green and her seven assists. Finally, Ward was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Kristin Osborne was the offensive standout of the match as she hit 100% for 13 kills and 33 assists and ten digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 19 games she's played.

Dawson School's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Heritage Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dawson School will take on rival Clear Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Heritage Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Front Range Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
