Basketball Recap: Buckeye Trail Warriors vs. Union Local Jets

After flying high against Newcomerstown last Friday, Buckeye Trail came back down to earth. The Buckeye Trail Warriors fell 58-47 to the Union Local Jets on Saturday. The Warriors have struggled against the Jets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Union Local got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Mehl out in front who posted 17 points and three steals. Mehl has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Brody Gregor was another key player, going 5 for 10 en route to 13 points along with seven assists and three steals.
