Basketball Recap: Oliver Springs' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It was a good run, but Oliver Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Harriman Blue Devils by a score of 61-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bobcats have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Despite the loss, Oliver Springs still got an impressive performance from Ethan Jones, who went 11-for-21 en route to 30 points and four steals. The match was Jones' fifth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Zachary Hamby, who shot 86% from the field to rack up 15 points.

Even though they lost, Oliver Springs was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. This was only their seventh loss (out of 26 games) when they've passed the ball that well.
