Basketball Recap: Skyview Comes Up Short

Skyview and Billings Senior squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Skyview had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Billings Senior Broncs by a score of 54-51. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Falcons came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Broncs are ranked 72nd).

Skyview's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Billings Senior, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyview will take on Gallatin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Billings Senior, they will face off against Billings West at 5:30 p.m. on February 28th.
