Volleyball Recap: Storm Lake Takes a Loss

Storm Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Audubon Wheelers. The Tornadoes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wheelers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Storm Lake's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Audubon, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

Storm Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Carroll on the 20th. As for Audubon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against South Central Calhoun on the 20th.
