Marlette can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Peck Pirates by a score of 39-28. This was a revenge game for the Red Raiders: when they faced off against the Pirates back in December of 2024, they had to take a 39-34 loss.

Peck lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Thomas West, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cal Heiden, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 12 points and six rebounds.

Marlette's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Peck, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

Marlette has already played their next contest, a 38-34 defeat against Kingston on the 28th. Peck does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
